AERO was appointed in 1999 as the sole representative of Asia-Pacific region on behalf of Willis Lease Finance Corp, the largest Independent Commercial Engine Lessor to be responsible for their lease and purchase of commercial aircraft engines; Developing client base, negotiating base contracts, market intelligence and to develop and create growth for Willis Lease in the Asia-Pacific region.


Independent Contractor (Non-Exclusive. Same functions as above etc - only a change in status).


Due to the amount of time required on WLFC projects via AERO, I accepted a direct contract as an Independent Contractor to devote more time to lead development in Asia-Pacific, establishing WLFC as a major player of commercial engine leasing focusing on Asean, India and Australasia.

Re-established in late 2017 to explore new avenues of business in response to the growing interest of Chinese and ASEAN based Regional investors to gain access to, and knowledge of, the reality of working, competing and surviving in both the aircraft and engine leasing sector particularly in their non core skills, which are primarily finance-funding although the success already achieved by them in this sector is already impressive.


AERO offers consultancy-advisory-management services airlines, lessors and financial institutions etc.


We aim to contribute both directly as a seasoned expert aviation professional and also via the recently established Hong Kong Aircraft Leasing and Aviation Finance Association, to the development of both HKALAFA’s and of the Hong Kong Governments’ ambition to again make Hong Kong a global aviation finance and leasing centre via aggressive tax incentives for lessors to create an establishment in Hong Kong; the availability of proven experts in the aviation sector and establishing professional qualifications to ensure the continued development of its goals for the aviation-aerospace sectors in Hong Kong.
